3 years agoErik Van Rooyen (OWGR No. 66) picked up his first PGA Tour victory at the Barracuda Championship in August of last year, so this will be his first appearance at Kapalua. The South African played full-time in the United States for the first time last season, and there were many ups and downs along the way. Van Rooyen had a lackluster fall performance on the heels of a very hot run during the end-of-season playoff events.
