2 years agoAt the Daytona 500 media day, Joey Logano was asked who are the top superspeedway drivers currently in NASCAR, and he mentioned Erik Jones as a top-five superspeedway driver. This is high praise from another accomplished superspeedway driver and a two-time champion. Jones has found success on superspeedways with an average finish over the last three years of 15.9 with 10 top-20 finishes and three top-five finishes. He was one wrong block and 100 yards away while leading the race from winning at Talladega last year. Jones will start this race from the 25th position.--Eric DeWilde
