7/4:Washington Nationals starting pitcher Erick Fedde left his start early against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury after recording just three outs. His velocity had dropped into the upper-80s in the second inning and was pulled after giving up a leadoff single to Rafael Devers in the second frame. One of the team's top pitching prospects, Fedde had been showing mixed results with a 5.79 ERA. Check back for updates on the nature of his injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
