Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames (thumb) will head to extended spring training for next Monday and Tuesday. Thames will then head to minor league rehab and then a decision will be made after that, however, minor league rehab could still be as far as a week away. When Thames returns, Brewers manager Craig Counsell has a big decision to make when it comes to how Jesus Aguilar, Ryan Braun and Thames will all split up time at first base. For how good Aguilar has been since taking over, it's almost certain that Thames is going to lose starts as a result. For now, he should be owned in all deep formats.--Caden
