Eric Kendricks 2020 Outlook: Quietly Consistent
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks has been a steady presence on for five straight seasons, posting at least 60 solo tackles and 90 combined tackles every campaign so far. Kendricks fits perfectly into Minnesota's bend-don't-break defense which finished 14th in total yards allowed but allowed the fifth-fewest points per game in 2019. He won't pick up sacks or turnovers too often, but in leagues that reward defended passes, he could be of more interest. His 12 PD in 2019 tied him for the most among linebackers along with Demario Davis and now-retired Luke Kuechly.
The RotoBaller crew has Kendricks ranked as the 44th overall IDP player in our early preseason rankings, which makes him the 26th linebacker. He warrants consideration in two-LB leagues as a steady tackler who plays a role in pass coverage.
