Eric Comrie Ruled Out Week-To-Week
1 year agoBuffalo Sabres goaltender Eric Comrie (lower body) has been listed as week-to-week by the team. The 28-year-old got injured in Friday's 5-4 loss to New Jersey, leaving Buffalo without two of its first-choice netminders. Starter Devon Levi (lower body) is considered day-to-day. The injuries have promoted the Sabres to call up Devin Cooley from the AHL. He's set to work as Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen's backup in Sunday's tough matchup against the Avalanche. It's never easy to maneuver through an injury crisis in the goalie department, but the Sabres have proven that they have the firepower to outscore anyone on their day, and with Luukkonen having so far saved only 52 of 59 shots this season, going all-out on the attack might be the team's best chance for success.
