3 months agoBoston Celtics center Enes Kanter enters his first season sporting the Celtics’ green and white. Kanter is coming off a barbaric-like postseason which saw him play through a dislocated shoulder to end up signing a bargain, two-year, $10 million-dollar contract in Boston. With the departures of Al Horford to the 76ers and Aron Baynes to the Phoenix Suns, the Celtics are quite slim in the middle when it comes to experienced centers. We should see Robert Williams continue to develop and Daniel Theis to continue to play some minutes at the five in small-ball lineups, but in the big picture, the minutes should be there for Kanter, even if he is a liability on the defensive end. You draft Kanter for his elite field-goal percentage and his ability to rack up double-doubles on a nightly basis. If you are looking for a second or third-string center and have are either punting blocks or have grabbed a couple players that can supplement that stat in earlier rounds, then Kanter is worth a look in the mid to later rounds if he is still kicking around.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBaller
