7 months agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Edwin Jackson has been designated for assignment prior to Tuesday's game against the Red Sox. Jackson posted three scoreless innings in Monday's 10-8 loss, allowing three hits, a walk and striking out two batters. Overall the experienced 35-year-old recorded just one win, five losses and an ugly 11.12 ERA over 28 1/3 innings as a member of the Blue Jays rotation and bullpen. A corresponding move has not been announced yet, while Jackson should be avoided in every type of fantasy format regardless of his next destination.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
