Edward Cabrera Good To Go For Tuesday
12 months agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera (hand) is good to make his start on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners after leaving his last start early on June 7 against the Kansas City Royals due to a blister on his pitching hand. Cabrera went five innings in that outing before being pulled. The 25-year-old right-hander will enter Tuesday's start with a 4.29 ERA (4.13 FIP), 1.38 WHIP, 38 walks and 80 strikeouts in 63 innings over his 13 starts for Miami. Cabrera can get wild at times with a 14 percent walk rate, but he's worth rostering in all fantasy leagues because of his strikeout upside (career-high 29.4% strikeout rate). He'll be a bit more risky in fantasy lineups on Tuesday in his first start after a blister issue.
