Eduardo Rodriguez Effective In Suspended Game
5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez went five complete innings after allowing two runs on seven hits, while walking three and striking out one in a game that was tied at four before play was suspended in the 10th inning due to rain. It's a backwards stat line, but Rodriguez gave the Red Sox a chance to win before the bullpen gave up the lead yet again. On the season, the southpaw is 13-5 with a 4.17 ERA and 140 K's. He'll get his next chance on Monday when they travel to face the Indians. Don't be afraid to fade Rodriguez in that matchup, as he pitches better at home than on the road, but there are certainly worse options available.
