1 year agoWashington Capitals center Dylan Strome had a three-point outing in Friday's 5-2 victory over Philadelphia. After entering the first intermission in a 2-0 deficit, Strome led Washington's comeback effort with a goal and two assists. He had a power-play helper for a third time in four games. Strome's productive work with the man advantage has helped him to go on a good scoring run. The 26-year-old centerman has recorded 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in the past seven games. It's been a solid season for Strome, who leads his team with 22 goals and 46 points with 59 games played.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoWashington Capitals center Dylan Strome (illness) is battling an illness but is hoping to be ready for Tuesday's contest against the Detroit Red Wings. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during Tuesday's morning skate, as it should provide more clarity on his availability. The 28-year-old has tallied six points (three goals) over his last six contests. During this stretch, Strome has held a -1 rating and logged 10 shots on goal. Through 67 contests this season, Strome is on pace to enjoy a career season as he has found the back of the net 21 times and added 44 helpers. Strome has tallied 26 points on the power play and averaged 1.8 shots on goal per game. If Strome were to miss Tuesday's game, fantasy managers should expect Pierre Luc-Dubois to move up to the top offensive line.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

5 months agoWashington Capitals center Dylan Strome registered two assists as the team snuck past Nashville 3-2 on Wednesday. He helped both of his linemates, Aliaksei Protas and Alex Ovechkin, light the lamp. There haven't been many players hotter than Strome in recent weeks, as the talented forward has recorded four multi-point outings in his last five appearances. He leads the Capitals in scoring with 19 points in 12 games and is tied for the third-most assists in the league with 15. On Friday, the Penguins will try to become only the second team this season to keep Strome off the score sheet.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 year agoWashington Capitals center Dylan Strome had a hand in both of the team's goals in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Montreal. He collected a pair of assists as Alex Ovechkin and Rasmus Sandin found the back of the net. Strome himself couldn't score despite firing off a game-high eight shots on goal. The Capitals are currently struggling badly, but Strome has put together a very impressive three-game stretch with three goals and two assists. He leads the way for Washington with 19 goals and 33 points with 48 games played.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 year agoWashington Capitals center Dylan Strome pushed the team past the Islanders on Wednesday with a power-play goal in overtime in a 3-2 win. Alex Ovechkin and John Carlson collected the assists, with the former tying Evgeni Malkin for the second-most overtime points in NHL history (39). With Ovechkin struggling to hit the mark this season, Strome has taken over as Washington's leading goal-scorer, lightning the lamp 13 times. Three of the goals have come during his current five-game point streak. The 26-year-old also tops the overall scoring list in D.C. with 19 points in 29 games. Strome can match his best-ever scoring streak on Thursday versus Columbus.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
