Dylan Crews Promoted To Triple-A
6 months agoWashington Nationals outfield prospect Dylan Crews is being promoted to Triple-A Rochester this week, according to a source. Crews had been red-hot at Double-A Harrisburg and hit .274/.343/.446 with five home runs, 11 doubles, three triples, 38 RBI, 15 stolen bases and 26 runs scored overall in his 51 games played. The Nationals are rewarding the second overall pick from last year out of LSU after his 2024 campaign started off on the wrong foot due to a hamstring injury early on. The 22-year-old has since rebounded, though, and is now joining fellow top outfield prospect James Wood at Rochester. Since May 1, Crews hit .292 with three home runs and 13 stolen bases. While Wood is probably closer than Crews to a big-league promotion, it's not out of the question that Crews will make his major-league debut in D.C. later this year.
