Dylan Beavers 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Can Talented Rookie Find Space in Baltimore's Crowded Outfield
Even after graduating plenty of top prospects over the last couple of seasons, Baltimore has another one ready to step in this season in Dylan Beavers. In 94 Triple-A games last season, Beavers racked up 18 home runs and 23 steals with a .304/.420/.515 slash line. He then added another four home runs and two steals with a .375 OBP in his 35 games with the Orioles. Beavers often doesn't get as much hype as he should, as there isn't one standout tool in the profile. However, he's average to plus across the board offensively, with his elite walk rate and on-base abilities leading the way. He's also an above-average to plus runner with above-average contact skills and at least average power. In Triple-A, Beavers recorded an 82% contact rate, 16.3% walk rate, and an 18.2% strikeout rate. If he can get enough playing time, Beavers could push 15-20 home runs and 20-25 steals as a rookie. However, Baltimore's outfield is crowded, and Beavers will likely open the season in some sort of a platoon.
