Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell (thigh) is ready to return to action Wednesday versus Minnesota. He has been sidelined for the past two games with a left thigh contusion. Christian Wood has picked up a pair of starts in his absence and could now head back to the bench, although with Dorian Finney-Smith (groin) out, there's a chance both players are among the starters. Powell has been the starting center for most of the matches this season, but he hasn't provided a lot for fantasy managers, averaging 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds. He averages fewer than 17 minutes a night, so Powell's return actually doesn't affect Wood much.--Taavi Pailk
