6 months agoNew Orleans Saints running back Dwayne Washington carried the ball eight times for 36 yards in Friday's preseason loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Washington and rookie Devine Ozigbo appear to be in a battle for the team's third running back role, and Washington out-touched Ozigbo eight to four in this one. It's the first preseason game, so don't read too much into that. Washington's path to fantasy relevance lies in him finding a way to not only beat Ozigbo but also Latavius Murray, so he's best ignored at this point, though we're likely to see him have some more preseason work as we move forward.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
