5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Donte Moncrief led the team with 10 targets in the team's Week 1 loss to the Patriots. However, he only caught three of them for seven yards and dropped four others, including a third-quarter touchdown. Moncrief is encouraged that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger publicly expressed his confidence in the first-year Steeler. “That’s huge for a guy like that, especially, to come out and say something like that,” Moncrief said. Pittsburgh is in a bounce-back opportunity at home against the Seahawks in Week 2. As long as Roethlisberger is still willing to throw to the 27-year-old, you have to at least give him a look.
