Donovan Mitchell Out At Least Three More Games
10 months agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (knee) will miss at least the next three games. The All-Star has sat out the last two contests because of a bone bruise in his left knee. While many had hoped the injury would only be a short-term issue, Chris Fedor of The Plain Dealer reported Mitchell underwent Platelet Rich Plasma injections, so he'll miss upcoming meetings with Boston, Atlanta, and Minnesota before getting re-evaluated over the weekend. The 27-year-old has had one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 28.0 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.4 rebounds. Fantasy managers should remain optimistic that Mitchell will be back on the floor when the Cavs meet the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. Of course, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen should benefit from a production standpoint without Mitchell. But Max Strus, Caris LeVert, and Isaac Okoro should also flourish.
