Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (shoulder) will return to the lineup on Friday against the Washington Wizards. After sitting out the second game of a back-to-back against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, Mitchell was initially considered probable for Friday's game. The team has now upgraded the six-time All-Star to available, and Mitchell is making his return in a juicy matchup. Washington allows the most points per game this season in the NBA. Mitchell has averaged 23.0 points with 46.7 percent three-point shooting against the Wizards in 2024-25.--Taavi Pailk
