Portland Trail Blazers center Donovan Clingan (ankle) is poised to miss at least one week of action. The rookie big man hurt his ankle in Tuesday's contest against Brooklyn, and the team has announced that Clingan will be re-evaluated in one week. He was diagnosed with a mild left-ankle sprain. Clingan joins Robert Williams III (illness) on the sidelines, so Portland's starting center Deandre Ayton may be very busy over the next few games. Duop Reath is an additional option for the center position on the bench, but he has featured very sparingly in 2024-25.--Taavi Pailk
