Domingo German Allows One Run In No-Decision
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German pitched well despite not factoring into the decision in Sunday's loss to the Boston Red Sox. German tossed 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball, allowing three hits and a pair of walks while fanning three. The 28-year-old generated 11 swinging strikes and a solid 31 percent CSW, called strikes plus whiffs, largely on the strength of his fastball. German ranks among the top 25 starters in ERA, 3.12, and WHIP, 1.02. He should continue to provide a boost to fantasy manager's ratios- with a June 13 matchup coming up against the Philadelphia Phillies.
