DK Metcalf Has A Plus Matchup In Week 16
12 months agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf caught three passes for 58 yards to help set up the game-winning touchdown in Monday's surprise win over the Philadelphia Eagles. His involvement salvaged his game from a fantasy perspective, finishing with five catches and 78 yards. On Sunday, the Seahawks take on the Tennessee Titans who have allowed the second-most receptions and sixth-most yards to wide receivers in 2023. After two weeks of running routes with Drew Lock under center, quarterback Geno Smith (groin) is off the injury report and expected to start in Week 16, bolstering Metcalf's chances of a big week. The 6-foot-4 receiver will also enjoy a healthy size advantage over the Titans' diminutive cornerbacks as he looks to reach the end zone for the eighth time this year. With a healthy quarterback and a plus matchup, Metcalf looks like a high-end WR2 capable of pushing his way into the top tier.
