11 months agoColorado Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu set the bar high for himself when he popped five home runs before the end of April, but he's struggled to find that power stroke again since then. He hit a few in June, but his two-run shot on Friday night was his first since June 28. LeMahieu had an initial slump after returning from the disabled list on August 2, but he's recently found his swing again, hitting .276 over his last eight games. He likely won't provide a whole lot of value for fantasy owners over the rest of the season, but those in the playoffs should keep an eye on him. He can always get hot, and he still gets to play in Colorado.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
