DJ LeMahieu Drills Another Home Run

It has become clearer that the New York Yankees have an MVP through the first two months of the season and his name is DJ LeMahieu. The former Colorado Rockies All-Star has been one of the few Yankees to avoid the IL this season, spending time all around the infield. Wednesday night he recorded two more hits, including a two-run home run in the second that doubled his club's lead. For the season, LeMahieu is hitting .329, second only to Giovanny Urshela on the club. Speaking of Urshela, he and LeMahieu may be battling for playing time soon, as Didi Gregorius has begun playing in extended Spring Training and is on target to return from Tommy John surgery next month.
