Dexter Fowler Off To Quiet Start
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Dexter Fowler is trying to establish himself with his new team. The veteran is very familiar with manager Joe Maddon from their glory days with the Cubs, but the 34-year-old's production has been on the slide ever since. Fowler has played only 271 games over the last three seasons and has a .679 OPS during that span. Fowler no longer appears to be a leadoff hitter but the Angels are hoping he can provide a veteran presence at the bottom of the lineup. Fowler is currently 2-for-9 at the plate through the early stages of Spring Training.
