Buffalo Sabres goaltender Devon Levi has been loaned to the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans. The 21-year-old was given an opportunity to take over as the club's No. 1 netminder to begin the season but has struggled with both his health and his performance. The seventh-round pick from 2020 owns a 3.73 goals-against average and an 876 Sv% across nine games on the season while he has also missed time with a lower-body injury. Certainly, the Sabres are attempting to be cautious with their young netminder who dominated for two seasons at Northeastern University before working to a decent 2.94 GAA and .905 Sv% across a seven-game debut with the Sabres last season. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen should get the lion's share of starts while Levi works out the kinks in the minors.--Brenton Kemp
