Devin Booker Ends Slump With A 58-Point Effort
2 years agoPhoenix Suns guard/forward Devin Booker scored at will in Saturday's clash with New Orleans, netting a season-high 58 points in a 118-114 win. He became the first Suns player ever to reach 50 points on five occasions, shooting 21-for-35 from the field and 6-for-12 from downtown. This could've easily been even a 60-point performance for Booker, but he had a tough time at the charity stripe with a 10-for-15 effort. Booker added five rebounds and five assists to his line while committing two turnovers in 42 minutes. The explosion came after Booker had scored just 54 points across his previous four outings. Not a bad way to end a slump. He heated up for a nice four-game week, which starts Monday versus the Lakers.
