3 years agoCarolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said that Dennis Daley will get the start again at left guard on Thursday night against the Houston Texans. Left guard Pat Elflein (hamstring) played 23 snaps in the Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints before getting injured. Daley, a sixth-round pick back in 2019, could be an upgrade over Elflein after he struggled last season and to begin the 2021 campaign. Rhule also called right guard John Miller one of the keys to beating the Saints after he came off the COVID-19 list. Carolina's offensive line could have their way with the Texans defensive line this week, making Christian McCaffrey a candidate to explode in Week 3. The Texans have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to running backs through two games in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
