He would score a run and drive one in (in two separate plate appearances) despite not recording a hit in the game. He did draw two walks, as befits a leadoff hitter. His on-base percentage is a very fantasy-friendly .376. Span is coming off a 2017 season where he batted .272 with 12 home runs and 12 steals. As long as he gets to 450 plate appearances, he should serve as a steady and safe fourth or fifth outfielder in a 12-team mixed league.--Jamie Mellor
