DeMar DeRozan Explodes for 42 Points in Comeback Win
7 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan was nothing short of amazing on Wednesday, scoring 42 points with two three-pointers made against Detroit, while shooting 16-for-28 from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 from the line in the winning effort. DeRozan didn't log any defensive stats in this one but came through with four rebounds and six assists in his game-high 43 minutes, including a clutch find to Fred VanVleet that sealed the Pistons fate with less than five seconds left. DeRozan continues his MVP-caliber season with the Raptors and is definitely establishing himself as an elite talent in the league. Toronto will have a day off now before hosting the red-hot Houston Rockets on Friday. The famous quote "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" is very suitable here. Owners need no reminders to keep Deebo active in their lineups.
