Dee Gordon Posting .268 OBP In Last 40 Games
6 years agoSeattle Mariners infielder/outfielder Dee Gordon is having a tough second half of the season, slashing .242/.268/.309 in 40 games since the All-Star break. During this stretch he has been bounced from the leadoff spot and has been hitting ninth for weeks now. He is hitting only .167 over his last seven games and brings little to the table other than speed. He has 30 stolen bases but is only 8-for-13 in swipe attempts over the last two months and has only drawn a mind-boggling eight walks in 510 at-bats this season. Gordon is no longer a viable fantasy option for the rest of the season.
