8 months agoThe 27-year old Hopkins will enter his seventh season with a massive list of credentials that justify drafting him first among the elite tier of wide receivers. His exceptional collection of numbers includes leading his position in PPR scoring and snaps last season (1,084/99%), while also finishing second in receiving yards (1,572), and yards-per-game (98.3), third in receptions (115), fourth in red zone targets (25), and touchdowns (11), fifth in targets (163), and second in percentage share of his team’s air yards according to Next Gen Stats (44.04%). Hopkins was also the only receiver to garner 10+ targets in every game from Weeks 13-17, established a career best 9.6 yards-per-target average, and his stellar 2018 output was consistent with the statistical excellence that he has consistently delivered throughout his career. Despite their potential to function as productive receiving weapons, Will Fuller and Keke Coutee missed a combined 19 games last season while Fuller has now been sidelined for 17 matchups during his three years. However, Hopkins has missed only one contest since arriving in Houston and will sustain his presence among the league leaders in every major category. Hopkins can be secured confidently on your all rosters in the middle of Round 1.--Phil Clark - RotoBaller
