David Nwaba Thrives in Start
7 years agoChicago Bulls guard/forward David Nwaba was inserted into the starting lineup in place of Justin Holiday and took full advantage, scoring a career-high 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting from the field, 3-for-3 from deep while grabbing nine rebounds in the close loss against the Sixers. The Bulls are officially tanking and focusing on player development for the rest of the season, which means plenty of opportunities for guys like Nwaba and Cristiano Felicio, who also started in place of veteran Robin Lopez. The scrappy guard won't score this much most nights, but he is a cheap source of steals and out-of-position rebounds. Embrace the youth movement and snatch him from the wire before it's too late.
