David Fletcher Notches Three Hits In Romp
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop David Fletcher went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in the Angels 13-3 win over the Mariners. Fletcher now has hits in each of the last 12 games he's played, going 20-for-49 (.408) with 11 runs scored over that span. His average on the season is now up to an impressive .323 and has taken over the leadoff in the Angels lineup. Fletcher's fantasy value is mostly tied to his high batting average due to a lack of power. But he quickly is becoming an appealing short-term option if he can continue to score runs hitting at the top of the order.
