8 months agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has a chance at a historic season for the team this season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers developed a good rapport with the receiver last season, and that looks set to continue going into this season. Adams had 169 targets in 15 games last season, catching 111 of them for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns. Rodgers again spoke his praises this offseason “I’d like to throw to Davante more, he’s that open,” Rodgers said. “We gotta keep finding ways of getting him the ball. There’s nothing wrong with having a go-to guy who is that dynamic and finding ways of getting him the ball.” If Adams is given the additional targets that Rodgers mentioned (even one or two extra a game) then Adams could be in for a historic level of success this season in the re-vamped Matt LaFleur offense.--Richard King - RotoBaller
