7/31:Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Darren O'Day (hamstring) has been traded to the Atlanta Braves alongside starting pitcher Kevin Gausman. O'Day is currently out for this season with a knee injury, but the Braves are thinking ahead to next season as well. O'Day has been a strikeout machine for the Orioles the last few seasons and should play a prominent role in the Braves bullpen next season. A.J. Minter is currently the Braves closer but there will be a lot of competition for that role next season, and O'Day could find himself in the mix.--Ben Rolfe - RotoBaller
