Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Darren O'Day (elbow) is likely getting a cortisone injection in his right elbow, according to manager Buck Showalter. He was supposed to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday, but O'Day did not feeling healthy enough to do so. The Orioles will likely need to wait a few days after the injection to see how O'Day responds. It's doubtful O'Day returns before the end of May.
