The NFL's Ian Rapoport reports that the Houston Texans are signing former Chicago Bears defensive end Darrell Taylor to a one-year, $5.25 million deal. Taylor was selected by the Seattle Seahawks during the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and played three seasons with Seattle before spending 2024 with the Bears. The Tennessee product appeared in 16 games, racking up 32 tackles, three sacks, and two fumbles forced. He played the third-most snaps off the edge for the Seahawks. Taylor hasn't been as productive over the past few seasons, though he did pile up 9.5 sacks in 16 contests during the 2022 season. He figures to be a valuable depth piece for the squad and should rotate in behind teammates Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter.--Alex CiullaRead More News
