Washington Capitals goaltender Darcy Kuemper (personal) might miss Friday's season opener against Pittsburgh. His wife gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday, and Kuemper wasn't on the ice Friday morning. The Capitals have called up Clay Stevenson from the minors to replace Kuemper in the lineup if he isn't available. Charlie Lindgren is expected to get the start. The 29-year-old had a decent 13-11-3 record during his debut campaign in Washington but allowed over three goals per game (3.05) and had a lowly .899 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
