Los Angeles Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper extended his season-opening point streak to seven games with a 16-save shutout in a 3-0 win over Nashville Monday night. Kuemper was hardly tested in the game, taking his record to 4-0-3. The veteran netminder has allowed 2.67 goals with a .899 save percentage. The latter number definitely has room for improvement, but Kuemper has played well with the Kings, rewarding fantasy managers who picked him up. David Rittich will likely take on Minnesota in Tuesday's tough matchup before Kuemper returns to the crease later in the week. He'll aim to extend his point streak in meetings with Vancouver and Columbus.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
