2 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson went 1-for-2 with a walk in Saturday’s 6-0 loss to the San Diego Padres. It was a quiet game for the Cubs' offense, but Swanson was able to up his season average to .276. He had a slow start to the season, with his new team hitting only one home run in April. Swanson has homered five times in his last 30 games to give him six on the year. Swanson has eclipsed 20 home runs in the last three seasons and will look to keep that streak going in his new home in Chicago.--Nick Shlain
