Danny Green Struggles With Shot Against Timberwolves
6 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green had a cold shooting game on Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He scored just six points on 2-for-8 shooting and had just four rebounds, three assists, two three-pointers, and a block, in 31 minutes of work. Anyone that has owned Green in the past should be aware of how streaky his shooting is. However, the most encouraging sign about Green so far is that the Raptors are committed to him as the starting shooting guard. Green is averaging the third most minutes on the team at 30.8 minutes-per-game and has nobody pushing for his role. This is a good sign for owners as the Raptors are willing to live through his off nights, so Green will have ample opportunities to produce. Green will look to bounce against the Dallas Mavericks Friday night, who currently have the worst three-point defense in the NBA.
