2 years agoDaniel Suarez has found something he really likes with Trackhouse Racing. They rewarded him with a contract extension before the season started, and he has rewarded them with three straight top-10 finishes to start the NASCAR Cup Series in 2023. While his teammate Ross Chastain was battling for the lead most of the race, Suarez was battling traffic mid-pack, patiently waiting for his opportunity. After starting 24th, Suarez ran most of the race in the high-teens to low-20s until the latter part of the race when he raced his way forward, ultimately finishing 10th. The Trackhouse duo have flexed their muscles early this season and will take that muscle to Phoenix to try to continue their momentum.--Eric DeWilde
