Daniel Suarez and his TrackHouse Racing car are set up well for Talladega. He qualified just 14th for the race on Sunday, but he is sixth in playoff points. Suarez is 11 points above the cushion, and the Chevy was good in the Next-Gen version this spring. He led 28 laps in April but was a victim of DVP (Damage Vehicle Policy), which dropped him to a 31st-place finish. There is some belief that Suarez could move up like Ross Chastain did.
