7 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon will start on Wednesday, sending Michael Wacha to the bullpen. While the switch may not be permanent, any fantasy roster that has Wacha on it can afford to drop him for now. The 28-year-old has struggled to a 5.54 ERA and 6.22 FIP this season, so he was already only a very deep league asset. Poncedeleon has a 1.99 ERA and 3.58 FIP. The Pittsburgh Pirates, whom he will face Wednesday, are a pretty average offense, so Poncedeleon could be a streaming candidate for that matchup.--Nate Green - RotoBaller
