Daniel Jones In Walking Boot, Likely To Miss Week 14

New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said that rookie quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle) is in a walking boot with a mild high ankle sprain and is unlikely to play on Monday night against the Eagles. Backup Eli Manning will "very likely" start against the Eagles in Week 14. Jones has been mostly bad in his first season with the G-Men thanks to frequent turnovers as the starter. The switch from Jones to Manning might actually be a downgrade for the Philadelphia defense in fantasy if you were considering streaming them for the first round of the fantasy playoffs. Manning obviously has lost considerable arm strength, and he'll be a midrange QB2 this weekend against Philly's porous secondary. Jones won't be a guarantee to return in Week 15, so Manning could see more than one start.
