7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D’Angelo Russell is starting to show signs that the rust is beginning to wear off after Tuesday night’s game. Although he didn’t set the world on fire with his performance, he was able to chip in seven points and four assists off the bench, while still only playing 15 minutes in the contest. Fifteen minutes is actually the most minutes he has played recently, as he only played 14 minutes in the previous two contests. Regardless of the minutes and production right now, the rust should be gone fairly soon, so expect Russell to ascend back to a starting role, most likely at the two guard where Allen Crabbe has been playing in his absence. If Russell is somehow still available, run, don’t walk, to the waiver wire to pick him up.--Bash Mike
