D'Angelo Russell Pushes T-Wolves Past Utah
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell had a fierce finish in Friday's 118-108 triumph over Utah, scoring 20 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter. He was 6-for-9 with the three-ball and shot 12-for-16 overall in 36 minutes of action. Russell delivered two assists with three turnovers and had three rebounds and one block. With Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) out of commission, Russell has taken a lot more scoring responsibility and is now averaging 28.3 points for his last three outings. Towns isn't anywhere near to returning, meaning Russell should put together his best stretch of the season in the upcoming weeks.
