D'Angelo Russell Notches A Double-Double With Rebounds
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell had a second consecutive outing with 29 points and added 10 rebounds and six assists in Friday's 127-120 loss to Orlando. He also picked up two steals and one block on the defensive end, shooting 9-for-20 from the floor with a 6-for-16 effort from outside. It was a very productive 38 minutes from Russell, although fantasy managers could've definitely done without his six turnovers. Russell also recently had a 25-point outing, so he's currently in the midst of his best offensive spurt of the season. The former All-Star is nicely set up to continue it on Sunday against the Nuggets, who have allowed the second-most points per 48 minutes to point guards this season.
