D'Andre Swift, Matthew Stafford Questionable Against Packers
4 years agoDetroit Lions rookie running back D'Andre Swift (illness) and quarterback Matthew Stafford (thumb) are both questionable for Week 14 against the Packers. Swift and Stafford were both full participants in practice on Friday, meaning they should both play on Sunday. Because Swift has been out since Week 10, he faces the prospect of being eased back in, making him more of a low-end RB2 in what is a great matchup. With Swift likely back, Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson lose more value as touchdown-dependent RB3/4 options. Stafford has been playing through his thumb ailments and should be fine. He seems to play better against tough defenses in 2020 and threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns in the first meeting with Green Bay. Stafford is a mid-range QB2 this weekend and should be forced to throw often.
