D'Andre Swift Improving
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) is "improving," but there still isn't much of an update on the status of his return. Swift isn't believed to have taken part in the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday ahead of their Week 14 date against the Denver Broncos on the road. Fantasy managers shouldn't be shocked at all if the 22-year-old misses a second straight game after suffering an AC joint sprain in Week 12. Jamaal Williams saw 17 of the team's 24 backfield carries and went for 71 yards in the team's first win of the season last Sunday. Against a stout Broncos defense, Williams would be more of a low-end RB2 if he makes another start in place of the injured Swift.
